Three dance groups waked the sleepy souls inside the BSU Gymnasium during the CICT Night as they set the dance floor on fire in the Modern Dance Competition.
The first dance group was the Dynamic Movers, who topped off the tilt with their black attire while dancing to different paces of music. Second, was the Street Fusion, composed of students from BSIT 2A. They received a big audience impact especially from their class. They began with a melancholic entrance as lights shut off, with their pen lights only lit up. They made firefly-like movements with their lights, then eventually turning on the lights and dancing their own moves. Their attire matched their dance grooves with their red-colored coat with inscriptions of the name of their class and their names. Last dance group was the Juan Wik, composed of all-male group. Just like the two groups, who didn’t want to be left out. They showed their dancing powers while dancing to different genre of music.
After all the dance groups have performed, the moment of truth came – the announcement of winners. At the end, the Street Fusion Dance Group of BSIT 2A was declared as the dance floor Champions of the Nights.
The winning group automatically became the New Set of CICT Dancers as Dean Fausto S. Hilario stated in his speech before the contest. He promised to give the group a part in the upcoming concert of the CICT Band.
